The Department of Internal Combustion Engines of
Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University (KhNAHU) hosts the international scientific and practical
conference "ENERGY SYSTEMS AND ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES" (ESAES – 2024),

The conference
"ENERGY SYSTEMS AND ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES" is set up to
bring together the academical, scientific and industrial communities from across the
world working in power generating technologies and alternative energy
sources.
The purpose of
the conference is to encourage the sharing of emerging studies, technological
innovations and practical experience in developing sustainable, efficient and
ecologically clean energy.
The main tasks
of the conference:
• dissemination of knowledge: exchanging
research and knowledge in energy systems and alternative energy
sources among conference participants.
• stimulating
innovations: promoting the development and introduction of pioneering
technologies to boost the productivity and sustainability of energy systems.
• facilitating
cooperation: creating an international forum to establish contacts and foster
collaboration among representatives of science, industry and government.
• solving
global challenges: discussing and finding groundbreaking solutions to global
issues related to ensuring sustainable energy security and reducing the impact
on the environment.
•
dissemination of hands-on experience: highlighting empirical studies and
successful cases in energy technologies.
Participation
in the conference is free.
Working
languages of the conference: Ukrainian, English.
Conference participants will receive a
conference program and a free certificate of participation at the request.
Conference application and papers received after March 04, 2024 will not be included in
the conference program and not be published.

9) Traditional and alternative fuels in energy systems.
10) Computer modeling and design of energy systems. Computer-aided design systems in energy systems of machines. Computer technologies in energy systems and machines.
11) Greening of energy systems. Energy and the environment. Energy-saving technologies.
12) Consulting schemes in the energy sector. Energy audit and methodological bases of its implementation. Energy management.
CONFERENCE REGULATIONS:
The conference will be held in the form of a plenary session, sectional sessions, and poster presentations.Ways of presenting a conference paper:
− plenary speaker (up to 15 min.);
− session speaker (up to 10 min.);
− poster presentation.
Poster presentations will be placed on the conference website.
CONFERENCE PAPER GUIDELINES:
Conference papers depending on the requirements can be published as:- an abstract
- in the conference book of abstracts (KhNAHU with ISBN), free of charge (up to 4 pages or minimum 1,800 characters without spaces);
- a full-text paper
- in the conference proceedings (AIP Publishing, Scopus) (4-8 pages) Publication cost: 125 $ (publishing fee + overseas bank transferring);

If desired, the author can submit more than one paper i.e an abstract and a full-text paper / a journal paper published in the conference book of abstracts (KhNAHU), the conference proceedings (Scopus) and one of the scientific journals (KhNAHU) mentioned above.
The conference proceedings of the papers and abstracts will be delivered online after the conference via e-mail.
CONFERENCE PAPER SUBMISSIONS:
General Requirements:
Before submitting the final paper, check that the formatting conforms to the requests below. Papers that do not meet the requirements will be returned to the authors for corrections.● Conference papers mustn't have been previously published. The Organizing Committee checks the paper for uniqueness using the official Unicheck service. If the uniqueness is less than 85%, the paper will not be accepted.
● Internet links in the text are accompanied by full, valid URLs.
● All illustrations, graphs and tables are centered without wrapping and placed in the text (not at the end of the document). Make sure there are no other languages in illustrations, graphs and tables.
● The references given in square brackets [5] are numbered in the order in which they appear in the paper. At least 40% of references should be to foreign sources for the last 5-10 years; the percentage of self-citation - no more than 20%; links to electronic resources - no more than 20%.

- Your abstract should not contain displayed equations, footnotes, references, graphics, or tables. It should be one paragraph of 250 words providing a summary of the new information, results of general interest, and conclusions.
- The Editorial Board highly encourages you to cite up-to-date literature (2017-2024 preferable), which is indexed by databases Scopus and Web of Science (peer-reviewed journals with high impact factors are preferable).
- The recommended length of the List of References is 15-30 sources.
