Fundamentals of road construction technology (3M)
The goal is to provide training of specialists in the field of "Industrial Mechanical Engineering" and to support bachelors in solving complex problems in the field of mechanical engineering, which involves a deep rethinking of the existing and creation of new integral knowledge and professional practice.
The course "Fundamentals of road construction technology" is intended for training specialists in the field of mechanical engineering, specialty 133 "Industrial mechanical engineering".
The scope of the discipline is 3 credits

In the course, you will learn general terms and definitions of road construction technology, get acquainted with modern road construction materials and requirements for them, road equipment and methods of work performance; highway construction technologies and quality control of performed works
The course is designed for students of the 3rd year studying at the first level educational programs (bachelor).
The course summarizes the experience of the Department of Highway Construction and Maintenance and provides knowledge of the basics of road construction technology. The acquired knowledge can be applied to the independent performance of professional tasks by specialty in professional activity.

Lecture. GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SUBGRADE AND WATER PASSING PIPES
Goal: The purpose of the lecture is to get acquainted with the basic concepts of road construction, study the classification of roads and the organization of construction works.

Lecture. TECHNOLOGY OF SUBGRADE CONSTRUCTION BY EARTH MOVERS (GRADER - ELEVATOR, EXCAVATOR)
Goal: the purpose of the lecture is to study the technology of subgrade construction with the use of excavators and grader - elevators

Lecture. TECHNOLOGY OF FINISHING AND STRENGTHENING WORKS
Goal: The purpose of the lecture is to study the technology of finishing and strengthening works during the construction of the subgrade
1. General characteristics of finishing and strengthening works.
2. Technology of the slopes strengthening by concrete slabs and sowing with grasses.
3. The choice of environmentally friendly technologies for strengthening of the slopes.

Lecture. PAVEMET AND ITS PURPOSE
Goal: the purpose of the lecture: the obtaining of the general information about the arrangement of pavement.
1. Basic laws of road construction.
2. Technological classification of pavement structures.
3. Ways of the pavement arrangement.
4. Preparation of the subgrade for the arrangement of pavement.

Lecture. TECHNOLOGY OF THE ROAD PAVEMENT LAYERS CONSTRUCTION MADE OF STONE MATERIALS BY THE JAMMING METHOD
Goal: study of the technology of the construction of crushed stone layers
1. Evaluation and requirements for layers of discrete materials
2. Construction of layers of crushed stone by jamming

Lecture. CONSTRUCTION OF ROAD PAVEMENT LAYERS MADE OF SOILS STRENGTHENED BY BINDERS
Goal: The purpose of the lecture is to study the technology of the road pavement layers construction from soils strengthened by binders.
